Why This Group

We Build the Man First

Most fatherhood programs jump straight to parenting tips. We don't. We build the man from the inside out before we ask him to be anybody's father.

Every week you sit down with other men who get it. We talk about the stuff most men never say out loud — the father wound, the anger, the pressure, the money, the silence — and we walk out with one real step to take before next week.

  • Small group, real talk — what's said in the room stays in the room
  • Meets once a week for 12 weeks
  • Workbook and journals included with the program
  • Led by an experienced counselor who's been in these rooms for 15+ years

Derek is the CEO of The Diversion Center and the author of Fatherhood: The Conversations Men Avoid But Need to Have. For more than 15 years he's been in the room with men across metro Atlanta — men dealing with the same pressure, anger, and silence this program was built to break.
