4-Week Court-Approved Class

Values Clarification is an 8-hour program provided over the course of 4 weeks, split into 2-hour sessions. The goal of this class is to educate at-risk individuals about the dangers of continued criminal activity, and to intervene early to prevent recidivism. It is a court ordered educational group that focuses on evaluating ethics, morals, values, and integrity. Social and psychological influences are examined with the goal to improve the decision-making process of members in the group. Relapse prevention, anger management, substance abuse, theft, prostitution, and self-esteem are also topics covered within this program. Individuals who are charged with crimes such as theft by shoplifting, possession of marijuana, minor in possession of alcohol (MIP), obstruction of justice, and other similar misdemeanor crimes are commonly recommended to complete this 4-week program by Gwinnett or Dekalb counties.

To enroll in this class, clients must first complete a 1-hour intake and orientation. Please note that, per Gwinnett county law, individuals enrolling in this program cannot be more than 10 minutes late to any class or intake. Any individual who is more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed into the class and may be required to start over.

You must pre-register for the intake at least 4 hours in advance.
