Immigration Evaluations

Here are the different types of immigration evaluations that we offer.

Extreme Hardship Waiver Evaluations

For applicants seeking waivers of grounds of inadmissibility, such as when an immigrant has come here illegally, been caught, and is facing having to leave the U.S. Evaluations focus on the extreme hardship to qualifying family members who are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. The lawful permanent resident or U.S. citizen is the client. The evaluation focuses on the impact on the client if their partner were to have to leave the U.S. for a penalty period of time (i.e., a period of 10 years) and also considers how the client would be impacted if they had to go to their partner’s country to live for that penalty period of time.

Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Evaluations

For women and men who have suffered substantial harm and/or abuse at the hands of a U.S. Citizen or their Lawful Permanent Resident spouses. In VAWA evaluations, we evaluate the client to determine the effect the trauma had on them.

U Visa Evaluations

We provide a psychosocial assessment of the client and document the type and extent of psychological damage and distress suffered because of the client’s victimization. This type of evaluation is for clients who have been a victim of a qualifying crime within the USA and co-operated with the police investigation. In U Visa evaluations, we evaluate the immigrant to determine the effect the trauma had on them.

T Visa Evaluations

For clients who have been a victim of forced labor/labor trafficking or sex trafficking. T visa evaluations provide psychosocial assessment of the client and help support temporary immigration relief for victims of trafficking. The client must comply with any reasonable requests from law enforcement to assist in the investigation of their case. In T Visa evaluations, we evaluate the client to determine the effect the trauma had on them.

We also provide substance abuse evaluations for clients that need them immigration or citizenship purposes.
